You may ask why I'm waiting
Why I took so long to get here
Still I ain't sure
What I've done is the right thing
My mind can't afford being wrong
You may ask why I doubt you
Girl, why I can't get near and tell you
I know what I feel
But I don't know about you
My heart can't afford being wrong
What happened to me?
What happened to me?
Every day I see the people
From the corner of my darkened eyes
And I see what they have done with their lives
What they dared, what they won
For they could afford their wrongs
Don't know if it's called for
To doubt you girl, in that you would love me
But no hope can defeat
That feeling of failure
That I can't afford being wrong
So let me down easy
I need someone in the right to show me
I'm alone, incomplete
I've got tons to achieve
Baby, make me risk being wrong

Octave fuzz and plenty of swagger. Solid, surprising, catchy and replayable.
Addendum: Ive replayed this many times now and each song becomes my favourite when it comes on now...Then the album is over far too quickly and I'm singing along with more and more of it and that's the best sign isn't it? A truly consistent, infectious listen.
