Mykhailo Great start!
All four songs are in slightly different styles, but equally awesome!
I hope there will be more soon. Favorite track: Colder Than It Used To Be.

Everywhere I happen, everywhere I look I see traits and colours of the face she took Everywhere I'm looking for that woman My imagination won't let go And now the sun refuse to shine lest she turns up Every lightpole we've passed, every doorway Every seat we've claimed, every song I played Everything reminds me of that woman And how long I've waited to get near She's a riddle for the ages, quiet and sly Nobody could reveal what's in her eyes I only wish there's something left to satisfy She lends fall its beauty on the grayest day Though she quells all matters all along her way Anything I do anigh that woman becomes only second hand priority And now the days are incomplete lest she turns up Don't know what she's got But it hits so hard Don't know what I'm doing In around her yard What would I not do for that woman Though I wonder if she'd ever let me She's a riddle for the ages, quiet and sly I wish I could reveal what's in her eyes I only wish there's something left to satisfy

Ah, monday again I see her face again I see her every day Ah, always picturing her face And knowing she's not there And seeing her every day don't help Ah, now she is the sun Mounting every morn So fair I'm scared to watch She sure would burn if I could touch Ah, now she is the rain Flowing down the lane I try to be where she will fall And be the one who makes her shine Ah, now she is the moon Haunting my dark room I'm dreaming of her every night And wonder where she is tonight Ah, backseat in the dark Between us only inches She's one eternity away And I don't know what to say Ah, busride in the evening An hour in her presence Please driver, keep us on the road Long enough for our love to unfold Ah, for each day I see her I want her more than ever However pretty she's today She'll be prettier tomorrow anyway Ah, turning 'round to see her Reaching out to hold her But she's not there, she's somewhere else Somewhere I hope one day to be

Now she is coming in again Another day I can tell how it will end Another failing the original intent in every way that I feared and never meant Is there a clue for the ones who never learned how they feel? Are there any room for calculus? Can I sit down knowing she will too? Can I walk out knowing she will follow through? Will I have to draw upon her preference? Or will I have to keep guard on my own sense? Is there a clue for the ones who never learned how to feel? Are there any room for calculus? Show me the way, show me how to say how I love her and need her in every way I still check her face for deductive signs if I'm in there or left hopelessly behind Now that we're all of the shrine of nature And the cause and effect we are bound to endure What she feels should belong to the domain of arithmetic Over an over I have heard about the theory of everything we've learned A neat and gracefully formulated term that applies even to the primal urge Is there a clue for the ones who only learned how to wield arithmetic and calculus? Show me the way, show me how to say how I love her and need her in every way I still check her face for deductive signs if I'm in there or left hopelessly behind Now that we're all of the shrine of nature And the cause and effect we are bound to endure Our love should reside in the domain of arithmetic Say that we're bound to the laws of nature And say that she will buckle down to its tenure Can you give the conditions under which the numbers align?

Colder than it used to be Outside though not looking in What is the worth in trying to love in winters like these? Wandering through an aching haze of not knowing anything What is the worth in hope as it was like this all the while? Once upon a sunny day Though she hadn't much to say She came along and whispered a song I happened to hear She became more beautiful for each passing day of being in reach of her sight I pined for her love I wanted her so Here it comes again I've seen it enough for to know when it's coming Anvil and the pain Of a blunt revelation that she won't ever be mine Once upon a time she caught my eyes along the way She had that certain something it seemed I fell for her anyway I never knew her state of mind If we ever were of one kind But as soon as I let go of my guard She found her way into my heart Hope she leads a clean good life I can't say there's one to blame But I cannot help but feeling that I could have been in her game Calling out her name in the night in a faint hope she will hear If she knew how much I'd do for her I think she'd review her tears Have you ever been so low that you're hoping there's no tomorrow? And knowing that she's all the world and the crumbling ground you're standing on I know you may be saying "Just forget her, she is taken" Love's so easy to write off But have you ever been so low that you see no use in going on? That all you did was in the shade of a woman standing in your way And I know you may be saying "There are more girls in the open" But there's only one of her She's unique and I would die to tell her so Here she comes again I've seen her enough to never forget her Now she brings the pain in a beautiful telling she'll never be mine Have you ever been in love so much you ache in though of her? That picturing a day without the chance with her will end your world And I know you may be saying "There are other girls in waiting" But I don't want girls, I want her She's the one and I would die to let her know Here it comes again I've seen it enough for to know that it's bound to fail once again She's to good to be true, she's a dream I am suffering through The more that you know, the colder the snow Colder than it used to be

about

So, here it is. The first rays of creativity from Stratus, a band residing in the Swedish midlands since the dawn of 2013. In four tracks, it manages to cover most of the stylistic terrain the band set out to cover. including short and snappy vintage hard rock riffing, Beatles-like trippy psychedelia and lengthy progressive ambitions.
