Lute FP Totally digging this. Yes, Mondo Drag, early Pink Floyd? Who knows and who cares, but this is excellent. Heavy, melodic, twists and turns but always grounded in good songwriting.

Green Revenant This is some extremely well written Swedish prog rock of the highest caliber. The 11 minute "Of pines and heather" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard, and "I hate you and wish you were dead" is equally moving. Favorite track: Of Pines and Heather.

Track Name: Losing Hold of the Sometimes Feared
Woman, you left me gathering hope
Tracing the dial wherever I go
Now that the first time gotten to old
You seem remote and cold
Losing hold of you

Wanted to show you all that I am
If I could tell wherever you'd stand
Now that you know a bit where I'm going
I see you're turning your head
What are you trying to do?

Woman, you left me waiting around
Waiting to hear, but never a sound
Now I got time for pondering feelings
I know I need you around
Let me see you through

Fear, an ancient wisdom
Guiding lonely hearts
Rounding every corner
Swearing on the next one
Every now and then
A little lovely lady
Paints the moon in blue

Wanted to show you all that I was
If I could tell wherever I'd stand
Not that I know a bit where I'm going
Can't blame you're turning your head
What are you trying to do?

Woman, you left me standing alone
Yearning to hold you once you were gone
Now you got time for thinking too much
That you don't need me around
Losing hold again
Track Name: So Don't
Don't want to squander your cash
on fat and sugary hash, so don't
Don't want a flashy new ride
or put your kids on the glide, so don't

Don't want the white collar alliance to guide you
Don't want the bulletin executive hiding you
You've got no intents to decide
So don't, so don't, so don't

You want a backdoor libertine
to satisfy your reary dream, so do
You want to quit your profession
as a labour investor, so do

You want to feed the underpaid for the day
You want to show the overeaten to change their way
You want someone yourself to show you through
So do, please do (by all means, do)

I know you had a hard time that noone could forsee
And it would be nice to rely on their appeal
Those who can provide you with everything you need
They might as well acquire a sudden fit of greed

As we all are fools now, know nothing 'bout a thing
And no one is the wiser 'bout future coming
The nominated few of the common reasoning
Do you really think they know where to plant the harbouring?

Don't want a crook to decide
what program you should abide, so don't
Don't want the greed to provide
the pad in which you reside, so don't

But if you're telling me that I should give in
To whatever nursery court you will put me in
To those who override my domain
Well don't, no don't, please don't
Track Name: Wicked Woman
You say that it's over
It's just it never even began
You never saw it out

Went all in for starters
Deluled me I could be your man
And then you did me out

You had me on and off
Looking to get it rough
I think your time is gonna come
Wicked woman you'll be done hard and fair

I see you've been looking
For loving but not love
Though I'd give it all in time

I thought to be wasting
Another chance, but I see it now
It's you who wasted yours

You had me on and off
Looking to get it rough
I think your time is gonna come
Wicked woman you'll be done hard and fair

You had me down and out
Feeding my doubt
I think your time is gonna come
You'll be sorry, you'll be sad
Wicked woman you'll be had hard and fair
Track Name: I Hate You and I Wish You Were Dead
I hate you and I wish that you were dead
I'd rather be myself than in your bed
I want to be alone now, do you mind?
I want to disassociate from your kind

I know I've been alone now for some time
But like you said, we'd hardly walk the line
It's true we got along well for a while
But now I see you were a waste of time

I can't believe I saved myself for you
I thought I had a reason to be true

Once I got to know you and you me
You suddenly made up I wouldn't please
You're right we're certainly not of one kind
I'd never ditch a love for a biased mind

It's sad to see another love downturned
But thanks to you my trust in love is burned

Now I wish we'd never met
Oh, I wish we'd never met
Oh I hate you and I wish that you were dead

I thought to need a woman in my life
I thought I needed you while by your side
Each time I fall I lose another dare
You girls can go to hell for all I care

I hate you and I wish that you were dead
I'd like to see you dangling from a thread
From all your talk of what love means to you
I want you in disgrace in public view

I should have known by all your random talk
I caught your eye only by pure unluck

How I wish that you were dead
Your severed head in your bed
Think of who will tell your parents that you're dead
Track Name: Neveragain
Do you know about my reasoning?
Do you know about my reasoning?
Do you care for how I feel?
Do you care for what I might conceal?

Do you care for why I up the shield?
Do you care for why I'm cold as steel?
But even though I yearn for you
I'm tired of treading terrain
We'll meet in neveragain

Never is a long long time
Never is a long long time
When you said there is a chance
It would be in a long long time

Be flattered you're the reason why
I'll never buy a woman's cry
About never finding decent guys
And though you're stuck on my brain
We'll meet in neveragain

Never again, no never again
Never again, never ever again
Never again, no never again
Never will we meet again

Do you care about the reason why
My walls have never been this high?
Do you care why I'm aloof?
Would you notice if I was to die?

You carry on as if it rains
No shame in where you show your face
However much you wanna be friends
We're not ment to remain
We'll meet in neveragain

Never again, no never again
Never again, never ever again
Never again, no never again
Never will we meet again

Be sure you are the reason why
I'll never buy in if you cry
You don't deserve a decent guy
You had me under your reign
See you in neveragain
Track Name: Fanfaronade
There is some grandness in your goal
Some trepidation in your role
That resonates and burns
Among the people searching for their soul

There is a grandness that will kill
That goes against the human will
It greases up your bat
And helps the weak to allowance and pills

Lonely writer, aching head inciter
Hail the liar, wake the pacifier
We see a grand fanfaronade
We see them all held down in aid
I hope you'll sleep when they are gone
Featured in their song
Don't know if you're wrong

So now the grandness in your goal
Can it excuse you playing foul?
If noone really knows
How can you claim the veto of the sole?

Lonely stealer, faking headache healer
Hail the dealer, hide the real concealer
We see a grand fanfaronade
We see them all held down in aid
You'll never know when all is well
And nobody can tell
Where anyone will dwell
So shut your cranky yell
Track Name: Don't Make Me Love You
Don't make me love you
Don't make me bide
Don't make me fall for you
While you reside
So far away from here

Don't make me hate you
In wake of your leave
Don't turn to that guy
While I can see
Stay away from him

Everytime I see you
I keep forgetting you don't care at all
Deceptive in all that you do
Your beauty brings me nigher to the fall

I know he wants you
Just for your flesh
If that's your outlook
Then go ahead
But stay away from me

Everytime I see you
I keep forgetting you don't care at all
Deceptive in all that you do
Your beauty brings me nigher to the fall

But if you linger
And if I fall
Don't play no games
You made me love you, woman
Don't turn away from me
Track Name: Can't Afford Being Wrong
You may ask why I'm waiting
Why I took so long to get here
Still I ain't sure
What I've done is the right thing
My mind can't afford being wrong

You may ask why I doubt you
Girl, why I can't get near and tell you
I know what I feel
But I don't know about you
My heart can't afford being wrong

What happened to me?
What happened to me?
Every day I see the people
From the corner of my darkened eyes
And I see what they have done with their lives
What they dared, what they won
For they could afford their wrongs

Don't know if it's called for
To doubt you girl, in that you would love me
But no hope can defeat
That feeling of failure
That I can't afford being wrong

So let me down easy
I need someone in the right to show me
I'm alone, incomplete
I've got tons to achieve
Baby, make me risk being wrong
Track Name: Trouble or Deux
Tired arms around your town
A lucky fight at least has one man down
They reach out for mercy
They wait around for peace
But trouble or deux
There's a reason why you never charm the sad few

Tired eyes, they see no lies
So nothing you say ever can stand trial
Don't reach out for mercy
Every time you're wrong
But trouble or deux
There's a reason why you never find the right cure

So, for your earnest
Herald as you're blessed
And before you claim redemption
There's at least one loser in a fight

Save for the papers
Tolls for the lowbreds
But one thing they'll never mention
There's at least one loser in a fight

Trouble or deux
There's a reason why I'll never join the sad queue

Have you been where you accuse?
Or are you only pleading guns you choose?
Why the war on learning
About the other dues?
But trouble or deux
There's a reason why you never find the right cure

So, for your earnest
Herald as you're blessed
And before you claim redemption
Are you not just mad because I'm right?

Save for the papers
Tolls for your own chest
But one thing they'll never mention
There's at least one loser in a fight
Track Name: Of Pines and Heather
Early sun for an early woman
By the stream she's greeting the day
A nymph she's born of pines and heather
Dances through the meadows unburdened by time

Down by the stream a tune in the wind
A tune so fair she could cry
Like hers, a greeting for the morning sun
A fiddler extolling the forest that bore their lives

"Come here, follow me, lady of dawn
Let me sing your beauty so pure
Come dance to my tune, come dance through your meadows
I'll play you happy, I'll play anything for your smile"

That's his trade, a sweet serenade
To sing to the world, to prove her his love
But words of the pines had given her signs
That noone should trust the tunes of the sprite and his lust

"Oh no", she said, our lady of dawn
"I have caught the hoot from afar
Borne on the cries of the owl so wise
You fiddlers are known to lure any maiden astray"

"Oh no", he said, our sprite of the brook
"You don't know all the times I have heard
Don't fall for his music, it's sweet but luring
Well, it's sweet for it's all I can prove for my love"

And off she went, with a heavenly scent
And left him there yearning, with a heart still burning
To prove them wrong, he sings out his song
For the beautiful lady, that one day she'll maybe return

So she's leaving for the valley
Takes a picture everyday
Of the place she used to stay
Claiming apples of her eye
Though she wonders everyday
Was it fate to be alone?

The owl oversees the brook never feeds upon the morn
In yield of his creed they will be gone

So, he's heading for the mountains
Given up on growing up
In the bower of his making
Spring is calling for rejoicing
Though he's kept to play his part
For the spirits in the valley

The owl dresses down as your brother in view of those he quelled
In yield of his creed they are dispelled

And for each summer she'd left crying
He'd call upon her in song
The wind will never call you brother
But it will never be wrong

There goes our lady of the morning
Merged with the heather alone
There goes our sprite and his tune
Carved in a heart of stone

So here's to all of you young maidens
And all young fiddlers alike
Relying of pines and heather
Will see your feelings denied
